Brian Lifepoint will close its spa and fitness center in South Lincoln in the next few months, the medical group announced Tuesday.
Emails were sent to members and clients earlier in the day. Bryan officials confirmed that the fitness center located on the Lifepoint campus (7501 S. 27th St.) will be closing on September 30.
Spa services will end on December 29th.
“When LifePointe opened, its services and programs were unique and met our needs,” said Brad Corey, Senior Media Officer and Multimedia Coordinator at Bryan. “Today, Lincoln has many other great options.”
The emergence of a handful of fitness centers, including Genesis with three locations in Lincoln and Good Life with two locations, has created a lot of competition in the market.
Bryan made the point in Tuesday’s email to customers.

Corey said cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation, physical and occupational therapy, foot care, diabetes education and critical care will continue unchanged at the Bryan Lifepoint campus.
