Q: For those unfamiliar, what is Cardea AuSet?
Bonato: We founded Cardea AuSet in 2017 as a result of believing in better things. Named after two powerful ancient goddesses, Cardea’s products use pristine, clean ingredients that anchor the power of effective yet small daily rituals for transformation and resetting. is compounded. After years of working in the creative, community-driven industry, we wanted to build something mind-changing around the power of self-care and ritual.
Q: What makes it unique?
Williams: We create quality products with purpose, care and ritual in the spirit of all good things. Our plant-based products are thoughtfully formulated to harness the transformative power of your daily rituals.
As founders, we come from very different backgrounds, which influences the duality of our brand name. Prior to joining Cardea, I worked as a visual design manager for a forward-thinking, sustainable-minded clothing brand. There, my aesthetic and global trends helped shape the in-store experience. I am also a longtime skincare enthusiast and certified Holistic Skin Specialist, studying and practicing skin care as a reflection of our inner health. Our exhaustive research into the science of skin care has led us to create a line of products with the fewest ingredients that actually work.

Q: One of your products is advertised as a “liquid face mask”. What could it be?
Williams: Unlike powder-blended charcoal mask noirs that require liquid to be added at the time of use, Bloom is ready to use right out of the bottle.
