What I like about Drmtlgy
First, I loved the understated and chic packaging. I like how it looks uniform on the bathroom counter and the brand’s new products maintain a consistent aesthetic. As far as the formula itself goes, my favorite product in the brand’s lineup is, you guessed it, the tinted moisturizer with SPF 46. I am not alone in feeling this way. It’s Amazon’s best-selling(!) tinted moisturizer. Like many others, I love this chemical sunscreen formula. It gives a lightweight, natural glow, has a high SPF factor and protects against both UVA and UVB rays.

I’m happy. Neither product caused any sensitivities and my complexion is as radiant and clear as ever.
I used to love it, but brightening eye mask ($44), which I also used on the morning of my wedding. You get a ton of masks (60 to be exact), each loaded with lightweight serums to revitalize and hydrate under eyes.
And finally, a product I didn’t expect to fall in love with, but the Natural Fresh Linen Mist and Room Spray ($15), especially the “Fresh Linen” scent. I was shocked at how pungent the smell was. It smells like freshly washed fabric. I spray everything, but I’m afraid of the day it runs out.

Using the Drmtlgy product is easy. The brand not only has instructions on the back of each bottle, but also offers more information on its website. This matches what co-founder Scott Fatterman told me over the phone. The company puts a lot of emphasis on educating its customers. That’s why the brand’s website clearly explains when and in what order to use each product.
Another detail that makes Drmtlgy’s products so easy to use is that their website has a skin quiz that tells you which products are best for you in less than a minute. I like that I don’t need an email to know the results (thanks to the “skip” button). The quiz also allows you to specify how many products you are satisfied with. I have minimal resistance to Drmtlgy as a brand. While it’s true that you’ll likely find more budget-friendly options when it comes to tinted moisturizers and cleansers, it’s important to realize that these products do what they’re supposed to do very effectively. The crux of the matter is that if you’re looking for solid results and a comfortable experience, these services are for you.
The only thing I think you should stop and consider is the brand’s hero product, the Universal Tinted Moisturizer. This particular product has definitely generated quite a bit of buzz, and as an avid advocate myself, I can attest to its appeal. However, it’s important to note that the formula itself is barely pigmented and very sheer, so it doesn’t act as a foundation like many people are accustomed to with other tinted formulas. Nonetheless, darker-skinned individuals shared positive feedback, alleviating any concerns that whitening would remain.
