Dermatologists have teamed up with CeraVe to launch the “Clear It Up Like a Derm” campaign to educate consumers about acne prevention and treatment. The campaign aims to ‘de-confusion about acne’, exploring the emotional impact of acne and debunking widespread myths about acne and its treatment.1
Through the first-ever Global Acne Academy experience, a board-certified dermatologist will educate more than 300 content creators and medical professionals about acne. By creating content that debunks the myths that are circulating online about acne, this campaign can reach a wide audience and correct some of the misinformation consumers read online.
Dermatologists including Muneeb Shah, MD, of Mooresville, North Carolina, Mamina Turegano, MD, of Metairie, Louisiana, and Evan A. Reeder, MD, of New York, New York, are leading the effort to provide better information to the public.
