A bride demands a full refund after finding out her husband slept with the wedding photographer.
A heartbroken woman demanded a refund after the man put a 20-year-old snapper he met on his big day to bed.
In a painful slap of cruel irony, she even had photographic evidence proving the affair.
But her claim was filed not with the perpetrator, the 20-year-old boy, but with another photographer, the man who hired her for the shoot.

The expert, who called himself Wedding Dude, explained his predicament: Post on Reddit“I shot a wedding earlier this summer, and my typical second shooter didn’t make it, so I found someone else online who seemed to have done a good job.
“Anyway she [sic] And then we had the wedding, and everything seemed normal. The photos were edited, delivered to the client and everything went well. “
But he continued: “And this morning I got an email from the bride saying that the woman I hired as my second photographer for the day ended up sleeping with her husband at some point after the wedding and to prove it I also attached a picture of my husband’s cell phone to , so I was asking for a refund.”
He asked the wedding photography subreddit community:
“She hired me for the job, the job was done, the product was delivered. It also feels like photographing a dog.”
However, he noted, “Naturally, the second shooter would be considered a private contractor, not an employee…”
At the end of his talk, he asked: She really sympathizes with this woman, but she also has a lot of money to pay back for her work. “

Fellow Redditors were quick to endorse The Wedding Dude, arguing that they shouldn’t have to pay for other people’s mistakes.
“It may sound harsh, but her husband was going to betray her regardless of who the second shooter was. It’s not your fault she married him.” ‘ wrote one.
“Tell them, unfortunately, that there is no way to get a refund for the services completed according to the contract,” another man suggested responding. “Something unfortunate happened and we can’t give you a refund. It’s out of my control,” they added.
Another enthusiastically defended the rights of photographers as service providers, writing: “What if you were the bartender… ‘Hey, bartender, my husband cheated on me with your drunkenness. Give me my money back!'” Lol, no, they didn’t even ask did. This doesn’t happen with other vendors.
“Clients keep demanding unfair refunds from photographers because we continue to allow them to do that. Work done and delivered. I can not do it.”
Concurring with this, another added: “We are human, so sometimes we feel bad about other people, but we are also a business. I wouldn’t expect it to come.
“If she wants her wedding services refunded, she can sue her ex-husband. “
However, another Redditor was quick to refute their recommendation, writing: If she shares this story online, in reviews, on podcasts, everywhere, it will be your name on the photography deal. “
Others pointed out that The Wedding Dude risks having his name swept into the quagmire over the issue.iStock
They continued: “I said, ‘I’m so sorry this happened, I had no idea.’ I feel sorry for you, and please also sign this NDA agreeing not to leave me a bad review because of this person.” It’s your responsibility. “
They went on to say, “I once refunded the cost of a wedding below this because reputation is everything and it’s not worth it.” added.
Another upvoted this as “the smartest answer here”, emphasizing: Why go beyond the principle and deliberately destroy it? “
And a third commented: “Imagine that article would be her second Google result for your business. Honestly, it’s not worth the risk. Sometimes you have to pay a price to do it.”
Others offered more joking advice on how he should respond, including “offer her a discount on her next wedding.”
Asked what the 20-year-old said when The Wedding Dude questioned her about it, he said, “She denied it, but he claimed they were in an open relationship.” .
He later elaborated on the photos his wife had sent him, saying they were “pornographic in nature” and were believed to have been taken in a hotel room.
When one user asked if the secret meeting started “in time,” he replied: All photos are from after the wedding. “
It’s not clear if he currently plans to refund the devastated bride.
Good luck to both of you, we say.
