Dr. Valeria Santana-Martínez was born and rise in Puerto Rico. She received her medical degree from the University Health Science in Antigua. She completed her medical training with a transitional year at Metropolitan Hospital in San German, Puerto Rico. She also has a Master in Autism Spectrum Disorders from Albizu University in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico.

Dr. Santana has certifications in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Basic Life Support (BLS). She is an active member of the Puerto Rico College of Surgeons.

She enjoys spending their time with their family. Dr. Santana enjoys scrapbook, traveling, and listening to music.
