Carolina Amador, APRN

Carolina Amador is a nurse practitioner in the state of New Jersey and now Florida who specializes in adult primary care medicine. She cares deeply about the wellbeing of her patients and wants them to have the best quality of life possible. She was a registered nurse in the inpatient critical care adult setting for 10 years and then in various other settings for another 7 years. In that time, she witnessed some patients become gravely ill from what could have been preventative conditions. And since then, her mission has become to help her patients achieve
balance in their health holistically to help prevent diseases and to achieve mental and physical harmony, wellness, and balance. She began her nurse practitioner career in adult pulmonary and primary care medicine and truly fell in love with helping her patients have positive outcomes.

Carolina is Colombian born and came to the United States in 1991 at the age of 9 years. She came here with her family who then had to learn a new language, attend school, adjust to a new life and ultimately, she had to work through many obstacles to become a nurse practitioner.
Because of this she is very passionate about helping all those in need.

She attended Middlesex County College to attain her associates in nursing degree while working and being pregnant with her only son. While working full-time as a registered nurse she attended Chamberlain College of Nursing to attain her bachelor’s in nursing and graduated with honors. Two years later, during the pandemic and while working in COVID-ICU, she attended Seton Hall University to attain her master’s degree in science and nursing with a board certification in Adult Gerontology Primary Care Medicine. She graduated summa cum laude with
Honors from the Gamma Nu Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International and was awarded the Determination and Perseverance Award by Seton Hall.

She is relocating to the Central Florida area to be closer to the love of her life and his adorable
children. She is also here to continue following her dreams of making a difference in primary care by serving this wonderful community and is now a proud member of the medical staff at Premier Medical Associates.
