Carlos Ramirez, MD

Dr. Carlos Ramirez is certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease. He studied at Tulane University and the University of Puerto Rico.

His medical degree is from the UCC Medical School in Bayamon, Puerto Rico. He completed his Residency in Internal Medicine at the Veterans Affairs Caribbean Healthcare System in San Juan, Puerto Rico. There he served as Chief Resident and Primary Care provider in Internal Medicine. He completed his Fellowship in Infectious Disease while serving our Veterans at the Veterans Affairs Caribbean Healthcare System.

Dr. Ramirez began his private practice as a consultant physician in Infectious Disease with 17 years of experience in Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease at Pavia Hospital in Santurce, Puerto Rico. He is an active member of the American College of Physicians, American Medical Association, and the Infectious Disease Society of America.

He is bilingual and speaks English and Spanish. Dr. Ramirez is currently accepting new patients in our Bushnell and Clermont offices.
